What is Web Accessibility?

Web accessibility allows those with disabilities to perceive and navigate your website. It applies a set of uniform standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), determined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) to the text, image and sounds presented to site visitors as well as the underlying code that structures these elements.
